Standardized
Pickleball
League

League Outline

  • Games will be played on Mondays, and the first game will be played on July 14th.

  • There will be 8 weeks of play (July 14 - September 8)

  • There will be no game on September 1

  • Games will be scheduled at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm and need to be completed within 1 hour.

  • There will be a reserved sign on the courts for the Standardized league.

  • Players must supply their own paddles and balls.

  • The official rules of pickleball can be found at this link. https://usapickleball.org/docs/USA-Pickleball-Rules-Summary.pdf

  • Subs are allowed for weeks when a team member isn't able to play

  • If it's raining hard enough that the courts will be too slick to play, we will cancel the games for the week and reschedule. We will make every attempt to notify league participants no later than 3pm the day of the game.

  • We will use the Standardized website to post game times, scores and league standings.

  • Because we are running a Ladder League, game times are posted on a weekly basis. The following week's game times will be posted by Wednesday the week before.

How Ladder Leagues Work

  • Players will be assigned to the ladder based on their skill level as indicated at registration.

  • Payers earn their positions based on their performance each week.

  • Weekly Matches: Players compete against others on the same or nearby rungs of the ladder.

  • Scoring and Movement: Based on match results, players move up or down the ladder. Winning often means climbing higher, while losing may result in moving down.

Reporting Scoring

  • Teams should keep track of their own score. The best of 3 games is the winner.

  • Scores must be reported at the end of the night using the Google Form to record the game scores or you can email info@standardizedbrewing.com with the scores.

  • We will need to know the scores of the 3 individual games to move teams up and down the ladder appropriately.
